Soccer vs Football

This week was our last week with our awesome soccer football coach Juan, he came all the way from Spain. We got to learn lots of different skills like dribbling, goal kicking and even how to play an entire game of football. We are going to miss Football. Room 5 Future Footprints

We are learning about how to create a positive digital footprint. A digital footprint is the mark we leave every time we go online. An exciting week!

Wow! We have had such an exciting week this week and been working very hard in our learning. This week we have talked about Lent.  Lent is a time when we think about our lives and make sure we are on the right path to the Promised Land. We also started working on our netbooks. We have learnt to log in and get to our class site. Mrs Grant taught us some short cuts that will make it faster to type. Phewww! We will defiantly need to get some rest over the weekend after such a busy week.

New Learning

A lot of new learning in Room 5 this morning. We have been learning to log into our Google Apps, organise our documents and find our way around our new class Google Site. Mrs Richardson has created the Room 5 site to organise our learning. Click here to view our class site. 

Today we were also learning how to decide what information we will be sharing about ourselves online so we can begin to create a positive digital footprint.
